lol, well my parents are big fans of The Who, so we've got some albums. I listened to them, and boom.

The who were amazing.... Pete can still fucking do it... and Roger doesn't sound shit, infact his voice was very impressive.

How great was that. Seeing Waters forgive and forget almost, the vibes between the band were awesome and there was even time for a few smiles and grins. :) Bought a tear to my japs eye.

Pink Floyd were fucking mind-blowing...shame I HAD TO LEAVE!!!! :annoyed :no (do we have any other emoticons I could use to register my complete and utter disgust?!)

The bus company refused to wait for late people which meant leaving during the Who...which was NOT good! And Peter Kay pissing around on stage...not funny in the slightest...

Fuuuck, found a video torrent of the London event but it's over a gig :(

I hope this gets replayed this week, pay tv or otherwise.

Haha! The first thing I saw was the singer of Linkin Park, and I thought "Bono?"... and then I understood... it was the the awfulness of Linkin Park. Eh. I'm tired.

Not amazing, their frontman was pretty shite. Bittersweet Symphony was gorgeous though.


So pleased I watched it, absolutely amazing afternoon/night. There had better be a cd, and it had better feature the Bill Gates bit.

Yes! That is an amazing song and I loved their performance! Neither Coldplay or U2 had the same energy I'd seen when I saw them at Glastonbury (coldplay) or Cardiff (U2) in the last week. They both had shows that evening elsewhere, which is why they were on first which was kind of a shame since they're obviously more capable of putting on a much more exciting show!

The Razorlight guy gave a great little speech though, Ha!

I was at the Philadelphia Live 8 for about a 3 hours. Saw Linkin Park and Jay Z. Lots of people there.. and shit loads of trash all over especially by the street curbs. Got pretty close, i could see the stage pretty clearly but the people on it were still too small to see. It was awesome.

I'm seeing the Pink Floyd one and some old dipshit is making noises while he plays a solo in WISH YOU WERE HERE.

I want the video of the Pink Floyd show. SEND IT TO ME.

It's in the studio version of the song too. Personally I'm not a fan either but whatever the fuck Gilmour wants to do is his business.
