you STILL don't make custom scenery. You use premade scenery from the mod section.

Mabdog 07-18-2010 07:07 PM

hahahahhaahahahhaha no way

I made a movie exactly like this one a few years back that was a music video to this exact song.

It sucked just as much, except I actually animated gustave ripping out patrick's pubic hair.
It was BRUTAL.

i do actually, i am working on the films in which i have made it

Mabdog 07-18-2010 07:47 PM

good for you, babe

Tuna Hematoma 07-18-2010 08:05 PM

I also made a movie like this, but it was called "The Kicking Ass Story '96". I think I used Bo.

Trooper 07-18-2010 08:58 PM

Haha. I laughed at 0:45 where they're sort of writhing around in mid-air.

Lord Cardigan 07-22-2010 11:43 AM

I found that funny, pretty well made.

2 cons: Didn't like the movement of the cars (typical of 3dmm movies)
There wasn't enough movement of the actors for my taste.

Otherwise like it

Trooper 07-22-2010 11:49 AM

The noise at 1:15 is "Donkey crap" reversed, by the way.

Mabdog 07-22-2010 12:03 PM

yeah.. I remember when I first downloaded goldwave the first thing I did was play that backward. Along with fire on high, stairway to heaven, and any guns and roses song (just because it sounds funny)

Trooper 07-22-2010 12:06 PM

Oh, it's part of the song? I thought Nickson had added it to be funny.

Mabdog 07-22-2010 12:32 PM

nope

Trooper 07-22-2010 12:35 PM

oh

Mabdog 07-22-2010 12:39 PM

:)

how you doin, trooper?

Trooper 07-22-2010 05:23 PM

Mabdog 07-22-2010 05:32 PM

cool, man. What's been up? you in school?

You're.. out of high school ya? What've you been up to? How was graduation (apologies if you didn't). What are your plans for life?

Trooper 07-22-2010 05:46 PM

Starting Uni in September if I've done OK. I don't get my grades until August.

Not doing much interesting with my time right now. Just glad I don't have work or exams to worry about. I'm mainly concentrating on finishing "Damned" so I can release it this year.

* derails the thread some more * How's things with you?

Mabdog 07-23-2010 06:16 AM

oh great man.

Just got home from visiting my mom in Mexico. Lots of fun. She insisted that we made a movie with all of her friends, so she wrote a movie and we made it. Now I have to edit it. It was a good time, but we got on each others nerves every once in a while.
Also it's hard saying goodbye to my mom because she always gets very emotional because I'm not visiting again until next summer (can't get that much time off of work) So that sucks.

Anyway. I'm happy because my best friend just got out of Juvenile hall.. and we work the same days and have the same hours.. and work by each other.. so we're gonna hang out all week. Very cool.

But on a different note, I have several 3dmm projects in the works and a few live action things in the works:
in terms of 3dmm I have:

-the chain movie with Nokes (actually good that it's having a slow start)

-DEAD episode 9 (haha dumb series.. but it's MY PAM and It holds a special place in my heart. And is the main way I'm getting back in the 3dmm mode)

-community project (still in development)

-Secret Project it's a secret.

and a large number of live action things.

But HA. I was just in a good mood and felt like talking.

ALSO speaking of grades, I finally saw my grades, and they were GOOD.

SO back to you, Trooper. What are you going to work toward studying? What's your dream job?

Trooper 07-23-2010 11:51 AM

I was up for doing neuroscience at Uni but most of the places that offered it weren't particularly appealing, so I went with Biomedical Science because I can specialise in neuroscience in the second and third year. I'm all into animal behaviour, so my dream job would be something based around that. I think sleep is a really weird process, so a job in a sleep lab would be awesome.

And yeah, my 3dmm stuff:
-Damned
-Henry vs Skelly 3
-The chain movie
-Making a little animation for a friend's birthday. Might post it here when it's done but probably not, cos it's all in-jokes and stuff.

Mabdog 07-23-2010 05:57 PM

Biomedical Science, eh? That's pretty cool, man. Animal Behaviors and things have always interested me as well. If I were to go into any science field I'd go into physics. The only science class that ever interested me. But I would definitely want to go into something pertaining to 3D. Or Film. Or maybe try to see where this chef thing goes (or the personal assistant thing).

And it's funny hearing that you're making a 3dmm movie for your friends birthday. I used to do the same thing. I thought I was the only one.

do you drive? Work?

and

tell me, sir.. supposing you have a patch of free time, what would you normally fill it with?

Trooper 07-23-2010 06:08 PM

Yeah, been driving nearly a year now. No job right now, though I might look for something to be doing between now and Uni.

I don't tend to fill free time with anything very interesting. I live out in the middle of nowhere and so I don't go out much. I'll usually just log on here, or write something (I'm dabbling with scripts and trying my hand at a little novel). Nothing particularly exciting.

So where are you at? Full time job now, or what? I didn't know you were a chef.

You're still working on Damned, that's sweet. I was really looking forward to that, but I thought it was dead.

Also, Bill, same response to this as Mustard Man. Animating music videos is generally not appreciated. I mean, I'm sure it could work if you picked something obscure and unknown and didn't match the animations to the lyrics, but it would be hard to pull of well.

But then again, this is the kind of criticism that I was talking about, that we should maybe be a bit more careful about giving to you new guys. You do your own thang, man.

nope. Still part time because high school next year. But yeah. Kind of a side thing. My main job is personal assistant for the developmentally disabled. FUN STUFF.

Sorry to take so long to respond. What's the novel about, man?
