Boot To the Head!!

3 Attachment(s)
Since i Liked the Phoenix Wright "BOOT TO THE HEAD" so much and the Dubbed "Boot to the head" versions. I decided to use my skills in 3D Movie Maker, since its never been done :D

DUE TO ITS MASS FILE SIZE FROM ALL THE MODS I DOWNLOAD. I CAN'T UPLOAD THIS .vmm UNLESS SOMEONE CAN TELL ME HOW TO REMOVE THE USELESS MODS

The Agent 2 (is still being worked on....not given up yet!)

You used voices!!!!
great movie

Stanleyopar 10-13-2009 05:52 PM

ya. I wish I could Do it More often....

that voice was a .WAV file...everytime i had to change something..i had to replay it from the beginning...

if you didn't realize it...i Don't have a 3DMM team like some of you do...i'm by myself....So i of course can't voice act for the whole movie...unless im mel Blanc...last time I checked i wasn't @_@

thanks Though ^_^

"The Agent Returns (The Agent 2) : The SlipGate Conspiracy" will have text too ]=/....unless Someone can help me on voices (utterly impossible)...

i need an ambitious main character

a female partner

a older person

evil sounding man

and other NPC voices BUT THAT'S ANOTHER THREAD! XD

Btw....How can I remove those damn mods from the file?...im not uploading a 2gb file @_@

Michael Jeffrey 10-13-2009 06:03 PM

Hahaha 3dmm just makes everything funnier for me

Santiago 10-13-2009 10:10 PM

Dude, that was good. Nicely directed and the voice acting was hilarious.

Stanleyopar 10-14-2009 10:50 PM

anyway where I can removed those useless mods that I didn't use?

PuxinFilms 10-15-2009 04:45 PM

well, you should open V3dmm and select just the mods you will use.then upload the file to internet again, and edit the mirror URL

Stanleyopar 10-16-2009 04:59 PM

uhm....I Tried that...it still required the "1,755" mods that it "could not find"

The sound is from some show or something

Jesterfoot 10-17-2009 02:28 AM

hahaha, this is great. Though I have to say that the audio file definitely makes the movie, you did a great job with syncing and direction.

Take off all of the expansions that you didn't use (make sure you didn't use them or you'll have trouble), and then, within the v3dmm manager, go to file-save movie.

the phrase "Boot To The Head" made them really popular, in fact...it was their calling card.

PuxinFilms 10-18-2009 05:55 PM

PuxinFilms 10-21-2009 05:19 PM

how do you convert .waw files into .midi???

Space Goat 10-21-2009 10:52 PM

MIDI files are just instructions for your computer's MIDI controller software to synthesize at runtime. They do not contain a recorded audio bitstream like WAV files do. In order to convert a WAV to MIDI, you would need some kind of software to analyze the audio bitstream, detect the notes, and guess what instruments to use. I've never heard of any software that can do that, and doubt any exists.

There are a few converters that will change digital sound files in to midi. The free ones all require the user to hone in on freqs to staple the instuments. The is a plug in for sound forge that can recognize drums and melody that does a pretty good job.

Chances are though, your .mid files have already been made. Just do a search. You can also use Guitar Pro to get the best tabs and save them as midis files. Guitar sites often have the most updated version of popular songs with all the backings.

Start here and if you don't find what you are looking for then go here:

If you want to get realy technical about actual songs then go here and get Guitar Pro:

http://www.guitar-pro.com/en/index.php

install that then go here:

If you are still having issues, then go here:

and purchase one these with bullets, and well... I think you know the rest.

thanks for the info!

Compcat 10-22-2009 05:38 PM

Or just don't use midi because nobody uses or likes midi in movies. In fact it even fucks up for people with vista.

Skittlebrau 10-22-2009 09:47 PM

Oh my god what are you guys doing to him?

I think what everyone is neglecting to mention is that you can just import the wav file as a Sound Effect instead of music, which is only MIDI. It works. Its how its been done for years.

And like...it feels weird that we can't hold the old standards of moviemaking up to the new movies, that we just have to kinda be glad they're being made. That said, though, it reminded me of Tuna's old stuff. I was kind of wondering how it would pan out, but despite my uneasiness, the first boot to the head made me laugh. And then I kept laughing. It's not really your material, but you made it work really, really well. Kudos.

Also, I'm pretty sure you probably had to restart it to listen to that sound effect from the beginning while you animated, like, a billion times, so I got respect.

Stanleyopar 10-25-2009 03:25 AM

yea.....ha ha...just checked this thread and its crawling with MIDI talk O_o

I used a .WAV file to import so thats why it was a royal bitch to get the sync right...plus u can't get that sort of sound using MIDI. Impossible....

from hours of experience trying to convert a WAV file to MIDI so i could find out how to play it...yes I was a noob back then -_-

thanks for all the support though ^ ^

I am sorry, I forgot to comment on this movie....

I originally antagonized the wav to midi question, which has nothing to do with this movie.

Well it sucked! Not really, actually I thought it was creative several ways. It brought some life to the normal 3DMM. You also did a good job of synchronizing the sound to the actions.

A very good visual of this act and great movie!
