DAY 2 Cool movie here from Liam, very nicely directed!

TOMORROW FOR DAY 3 WILL BE A DAY OFF, SO WE CAN FOCUS ON BM2 STUFF :)

Bown 09-17-2008 08:16 PM

* WATCHES THE HELL OUT OF THIS MOTHERFUCK *

Dominator Dan 09-17-2008 08:16 PM

haha THAT'S MORE LIKE IT

but yeah, this stuff was fabulous i like how G&W ran off and did the fry up thing for no reason, i do that all the time in SSB aha

the ending was slammin too, and your music worked rather well i must say! gave the movie a veryyyy, well, some sort of feel that makes it different, UNIQUE is too cliche but screw it, UNIQUE

Ned 09-17-2008 08:34 PM

Impressive visual style and direction makes for an enjoyable watch. Well done! It'd be nice to see more theme and/or plot in your subsequent work.

Compcat 09-17-2008 08:34 PM

yeah that was really cool, plotwise it was kind of meh, like whats the deal is it just video game nightmare but with james bond instead of justin and mike, but it looked really cool, and the music was good. good use of expansions.

Ned 09-17-2008 08:36 PM

Yes, I also appreciated the custom music. Forgot to mention that.

Rabid Dinosaur 09-17-2008 08:53 PM

I am a big Liam Brocklehurst fan. I will be checking this out soon.

Eric Burger 09-17-2008 09:40 PM

Very fun watch, Liam. The custom music really helped unify the whole experience, and the blinking and whatnot were a nice touch. Also, nice use of FPVDings.

Though, I too am a bit confused by why you used a James Bond character and not something from a video game. I mean, I know there are a ton of Bond games, but... I dunno. Just seems a bit odd to me. Was it because both Bond and Mr. Game & Watch are "men in black suits"?

But this was very enjoyable. I'd watch it again, for sure!

bl0ppin 09-17-2008 09:54 PM

hahaha this was extremely strange, but it was an excellent film, very nice direction and some original ideas here.

Good work, dude!

Liam Brocklehurst 09-17-2008 10:40 PM

hahaha thanks guys!
This was basically something I made up as I went, I made the Spy Timothy out of experiment and just decided to make a movie with him (loved the amount of eye actions I could give him), glad y'all enjoyed it. :)

Slade 09-17-2008 11:35 PM

Hahaha, I can hear the default Imaginopolis music in the background behind your credits music.

A bizarrely cute movie, very nice.

Pizza The Hut 09-18-2008 12:05 AM

That was amazing. Duke Nukem 3D!!!!!!!

Michael Sandford 09-18-2008 03:52 AM

that was brilliant. also the man in the black suit model looks fantastic

Jesterfoot 09-18-2008 06:28 AM

Hahaha that was random, but I agree with everyone else that it has a unusual but fun style to it. my favorite part was the fight on that flying object

7/10

Ben Rice 09-18-2008 09:52 AM

That was a little strange but it was also enjoyable. Good work.

Simon Sav 09-18-2008 10:41 AM

The new textures on the mans face and the way he blinked was so strange.
I’ve never seen anything like that before but it was good stuff.

Tony Chop 09-18-2008 01:45 PM

That's what I call a master piece!

Molotov 09-18-2008 06:38 PM

The custom soundtrack was tremendous.

Tony Chop has a point there.

This was a fun movie. Like, it didn't make any sense or anything, but I enjoyed it for what it was. Good job.

Liam Brocklehurst 09-19-2008 07:18 AM

Thanks guys :anime

Tony Chop 09-19-2008 03:35 PM

You're welcome!:anime

Evil Ash 09-19-2008 10:05 PM

Haha, I enjoyed this. Yeah it's pretty much mindless entertainment, but it's done well, and with the right amount of everything.

Thumbs up.

Tuna Hematoma 09-21-2008 08:08 AM

I really liked the style of this. Didn't know what was going on, but it was still pretty dang neat.

Cubert 09-21-2008 11:29 AM

Didn't really follow the plot, it seemed to be teetering constantly on that knife-edge line of abstract/weird but coherent. That said, there were about 10 or so shots in this that looked absolutely fantastic (the hand held camera at the start when he leand against that building, the first person shot, etc.)

Some really fantastic stuff, great work.
