Just a mini "comeback" movie :). Go easy on me, I haven't used 3DMM for quite some time now. It's on YouTube but you can download it for 3DMM viewing - I need a mirror to host the 3DMM file please.

Note for those watching in 3DMM: This movie uses several early expansions with generic filenames. If you have a lot of vxp files installed and there's an expansion clash, the movie might stop on certain scenes. The youtube version is the safest way to watch, but if you want the higher resolution and v3dmm is stopping the movie on one scene every time, follow these instructions:
Quote:

Go into your C:\Program Files\Microsoft Kids\Virtual 3DMM directory and rename the folder called "Expansions" to "Expansions2" or anything else. Now create a new, empty folder called "Expansions". This will keep all your installed vxp files, but stop v3dmm from knowing where they are, stopping v3dmm conflicts for the afflicted movie. You can delete your new "Expansions" directory afterwards, and rename your old one back to "Expansions."

The movie doesn't let me view scenes 4, 30, and 32. :\

Richard Bevis 02-02-2008 02:48 PM

Oh dear. Hmm, I don't know what can be done about that. Watch the youtube version first? I'll check whats wrong with those scenes.

HMC 02-02-2008 02:49 PM

Also, clipboard.vxp? tree.vxp? :( I'm going to have to insist that you change some of those expansion names.

Space Goat 02-02-2008 02:49 PM

What a pleasant surprise! Fantastic work, as always. This is perhaps one of your best yet!

Oh yeah, I forgot about the whole expansion name thing. Those are OLD expansions I dug up from somewhere. =/

Thanks Goat :)

Space Goat 02-02-2008 02:57 PM

Is it possible to resolve the expansion filenames? I'd prefer to host a proper version rather than one with conflicts.

Richard Bevis 02-02-2008 03:02 PM

How do you do that exactly?

Tuna Hematoma 02-02-2008 03:23 PM

That was awesome!

haha wow this was a very interesting watch
a bit hazy on what actually happened but i'm sure i'll get it if i watch it again.

great camera effects and the intro i thought was done really well! Default font CAN look good

James Burgon 02-02-2008 06:08 PM

That was really nice, although the hospital establishing shot looked awful.
Oh and the music ruined it :(.

Flounder 02-02-2008 06:31 PM

The color scheme and style was cool. You probably should've used a different song. We've all seen American Beauty.

Lizard 02-02-2008 11:40 PM

I liked it. Bery Bery well made.

Kevitus 02-03-2008 12:46 AM

So Beautiful! 10/10.

good stuff as usual dude! Good to have you back :-*

Skittlebrau 02-03-2008 01:39 AM

You know, in off topic, I've always just kind of thought you were a douche and left it at that. For what little its worth, you now have a ton of my respect. That was a really good flick, dude.

Michael Sandford 02-03-2008 04:35 AM

I thought that was GREAT!
although I'm not sure I liked the whole border thing,
But still GREAT

EDIT: haha do all of your movies star Augustin, Kim and Patrick?

Richard Bevis 02-03-2008 09:58 AM

Thanks. I hate the way I usually sound like a 13 year-old prick when I post. I'm not sure how that comes about. Anyway, thanks alot.

Michael Sandford 02-03-2008 10:07 AM

oh right, I was thinking of blind homicide :P

again AMAZING MOVIE

Richard Bevis 02-03-2008 10:10 AM

Ah Blind Homicide. You know what the ending to that was? There were these sisters that all got murdered, and it was their father that did it. He also killed the mother but I can't remember why now.

Apfigur 02-03-2008 11:15 AM

Some really beautiful pictures in there. Great cinematic feel. Good job!

8/10

David Crowe 02-03-2008 01:09 PM

The animation on the opening credits was superb. The outdoor scenery was great too.

Slade 02-03-2008 05:50 PM

That was beautiful, some of those shots looked fantastic. I liked the whole reverse theme, but yeah, I'd have to watch it again (maybe even dragging the player slider backwards) to gain a proper understanding of what's going on.

But yes. I didst enjoy this verily.
