This cannot be good!

OMG,
My CD rom drive broke my 3dmm CD!
I was sitting there minding my own business
when I hear this clicking sound coming from
my CD rom drive. I'm like,
Huh? Whats that?
I try and load 3dmm and it says the rubbish
about
'Hey, I cant find the CD'
It was then I took at the CD.

I mean! How can a CD rom Drive do that?!
It was fine when I put it in!
Anyway does anyone know of download for a full 3dmm version
that actually works?

Will Cheyney 03-01-2004 08:31 AM

HAHA! You melon head! :rolleyes

Jaymond 03-01-2004 09:49 AM

No! It does not seem good!

Gustave 03-01-2004 09:53 AM

It does not?:(

Jim Ballard 03-01-2004 10:06 AM

That's nothing, my PS2 shattered my GTA3 disc into about 10-15 pieces.

Kim Turley 03-01-2004 10:29 AM

It's God punishing you for using BMPs, you heathen.

Alan Maloney 03-01-2004 01:56 PM

Bad luck dude about the cd. Why don't you download my 3dmm movie that tells you how to repair broken cds... oh wait; your movie maker is broken, hahahah

Bown 03-01-2004 02:53 PM

Melonhead, I assume all the files will still be fine, meaning you should try copying 3dmm to your hard drive.

(Put your CD in the drive, go to D:/3DMOVIE, select everything in that folder, and copy the files to C:/Program Files/Microsoft Kids/3d Movie Maker. You will be able to run 3dmm without the disc.)

That's painfully unfunny.

If his CD isn't working, how exactly can all the files off of the CD? It won't be able to access half of them.

If his CD is cracked, he should not put it in a CD ROM drive, especially if the CD drive was fast enough to crack it. Have you ever had a cd explode? Not much fun.

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD AT LEAST MAKE AN EFFORT TO USE PROPER PARAGRAPHS AND SENTENCES!

EDIT: lol typo

Melonhead 03-01-2004 07:21 PM

I was looking for some friendly reassurance!
Now it looks like I am the object of some
large joke...
Ah well - I'll find a copy sooner or later.

Sentances?

No offence,
but when you are criticising someones
grammar, would it not be best to make sure
that your spelling and grammar is correct?
Otherwise you tend to look like a hipocrite.

Demented Ferret 03-01-2004 07:28 PM

Hey, asshat - it's called a TYPO.

happened with my Tomb Raider: Chronicles CD. But I just copied all the files to computer and got a crack.

Plus, melonhead, fuck off and go rot somewhere silent, you're just a crusty shit smear on the bowl of 3dmm.com.

Evil Ash 03-01-2004 08:19 PM

Fuck, Melonhead. Easy on the Enter/Return key man. I bet the fucking text is worn off of it.

Jesterfoot 03-01-2004 10:45 PM

Guys, stop being assholes. Melonhead's cool.

Melonhead, go talk to Rubin Ridley, he has the full version of 3dmm.

Lord Blazer 03-01-2004 11:04 PM

I can understand being assholes to some fuckface, but this guy just likes to have his text fit into a 1/4 page column and you people beat his face into the ground. Geez.

Demented Ferret 03-01-2004 11:36 PM

He is also a faggot in other threads.

Lmac 03-01-2004 11:47 PM

Hey guys seriously give
Melonhead a break!
He hasn't done anything
wrong to you guys so
there's no need to have a
go at him!

Someone just give him a copy
of 3DMM so that he doesn't
have to keep asking
because we all know that
will annoy everyone when
he starts asking time and
time again.

Thank
you.

Alan Maloney 03-02-2004 04:38 AM

True. I apologise Melonhead. I like the picture of the broken cd with 'wtf' written on it.

Don't you have any friends that it? I had my sister burn me 5 copies, all but 4 went to friends. Then I saw 3dmm BRAND NEW for $20 and brought that too.

Should of burnt it. Shit happens

Melonhead 03-02-2004 07:15 PM

No worrys guys.
As for my 'thing' with the return key,
I say it is habit I would not want
to stop.
The good news is that my 3dmm
is working again! w00t.
I realized that months back I had copied
the whole CD onto my hard drive for some reason.
I took Doughboys' advice on where to put
it and, "Bingo". There it was.

And it has the added bonus that there
is no annoying scottish bloke going,
'And heres all the things you need to make
a really cool move!'
*Shudders*

Steve Adair 03-02-2004 09:30 PM

dude my 3dmm cd has 2 of those kind of cracks and mine still works

me > you

Evil Ash 03-02-2004 10:35 PM

I put half a CD in my drive once... it was funny.

Melonhead 03-03-2004 03:31 PM

Do the cracks go right through the disk?
