Great action and humour.
The skateboarding action in particular is impressive. |
Re-released as part of the 3DMM Preservation Project. Here's where I'd make some kind of skateboard pun, if I knew anything about stakeboarding.

FAT LIP

I think it needed more Sum 41.

Gunfights, action, and Sum 41. This is 3DMM in its purest form.

another Russ movie I had never seen before. the skateboarding theme was funny, there's some great scenes in this.
the green text on a blue background was not cool though. |
I was caught by surprise just how much camera movement there is in this, and how much Sum 41. Mostly though it was better than I remembered, with the same kind of "here we go again" punchline as You Only Live Until You Die. It's a shame the post-Venison Jelly one never got finished (or did it get save bugged?).

wow... you know, I never realized they all kinda end like that..... As for the post-Venison Jelly episode, it was planned to be wayy bigger than I had time for. I overwhelmed myself with an epic-ly long and difficult story, bitchin action scenes that which had never been seen before in a 3dmm movie (like a good carchase), and shadows in every shot. I still have the v3dmm files somewhere, and what I have now could be worked into a smaller short. If only I had the time to make the time for working on 3dmm movies... But it's cool to see these go back up and I'm glad y'all like 'em!! |
I liked this one a lot too. Music choice was bad, but the skateboarding thing made me feel nostalgic for the days when I would sit around playing Tony Hawk Pro Skater all day. Animation was still fantastic though.
