I liked him when no one knew who he was. He used to just tell jokes and not have to wait for his fans to shut up.

I remember the first time I saw his act, my friends were BUSTING about him. "OH DYLAN YA GOTTA SEE THIS GUY OMFG HAHA AHA AHA HES HILARIOUS HA AHA HAH." Fine. Sure. So I sat and watched his HBO special while my friends were dying of laughter, and I wanted to just regular die.

Had the same experience but I was just :| through most of it and once in a while I was like, "heh."

Then I kept hearing about this asshole and he became the standup comic for Generation STUPID and starred in a bunch of shitty movies. So most of my hate is backlash, but no less justifiable because of it.

I can't stand him. Every time I see his face I want him to shut the fuck up. Even if he's not talking (which is rare).

there's nothing worse than when all your friends think a comedian is hilarious and insist putting him on when he's really shit.

I liked Harmful If Swallowed but I haven't heard much of his newer stuff.

I saw one of those comedy central stand-up things with him a long time ago, like a few years before I started hearing about him all over. He was funny enough but the way everyone is treating him now sort of puts me off a little bit, I don't see what the big deal is.

I watched a couple of videos of him on youtube. He doesn't do many punchlines, and when he does theres always a pause before the audience start laughing, as if they realised it was supposed to be a punchline haha

Dane Cook is funny in the same way that those smart-talking novelty toys are.
