Vlarion 2 - Darkness Gathering

DO NOT MISTAKE THIS FOR A NEW RELEASE. This is the 2000 version, not the sequel to the 2006 remake of Vlarion 1. I am not evil enough to misrepresent what this is, and sorry in advance if you got excited and then disappointed.
Vlarion 2 is Jon Barton's favorite section of the story, which made me think a little harder about it than I had up to that point. I think the first half of this installment was the weakest part of the series overall, uncertain in tone, shaky in plot and characterization, and wildly inconsistent in motivation. It started to border on silly in places. The second half, however, is where the series finally started getting stronger in my eyes, even though the showdown on the roof at the end failed more than it succeeded in terms of experimentation. I've never really been satisfied with the major plot revelation here -- execution-wise, anyway. This would obviously be next in line for the remakes, and I got about 10-15% into preproduction before shelving the project. Off and on, however, I've never really stopped tinkering with this, whether it's minor 7gen work, modelling, script fine-tuning, or hunting for music. It hasn't left the back of my mind at any point, so as I've said, the future's still open. Original Series Vlarion 1- The Elemental War | Vlarion 2 - Darkness Gathering | Vlarion 3 - Carrier of the Light | Vlarion 4 - The Heavens Crumble Alternate Series Alternate Vlarion 2 - Dark Anticipation | Alternate Vlarion 3 - Echo of Time | Alternate Vlarion 4 - The Heavens Collide |
They all kind of meld together for me, but as the series went on, they got better and getting the story through without all the excess "Haha, Look, I'm young!" stuff that plagued the first one.
It was pretty awesome toward the end, and I really started to look forward to the times when I would get bored of Pikmin/West Wing (all the way back in 2005) and put on another one of these. |

Any possibility of a wmv of this? I want to watch it again, but vista fucks midis up, and that kind of ruins the movie.
