Untitled (First Scene)

First scene, or at least the first scene with the two main characters in - this is literally a solitary "scene" as in I've used a default scene with different camera angles. You can surmise from this that I haven't bothered myself wholly on presentation; it's about the dialogue.

... pretty much me and my brother messing about with a microphone, then "put to" rather than "applied across" a 3Dmm environment. ANYWAY, enough waffling, it makes me laugh ... what do you think?

PS: One of the characters is from NE England (adds to the comedy value), so his lines might be a little impenetrable to people outside the UK... and probably people inside it as well. But i'm sure you'll get a laugh anyway, and I might add subtitles later, even though he is technically speaking english.

Try the uploader at the top of this website. It's there in the upper right, next to 'links' and 'stats.'

Yes, cheers; I'm aware of it - I'm just on a public-access computer at the moment that blocks it, which is why I'm hosting like a retard not a normal human being.

Will upload proper when I get home.

edit: the link seems to be working now?...
edit(2): no joy with that psycho thingy, I'm pretty sure atleast one link should work for everybody... so WATCH

no sir. I don't like it. Sorry, 'twas uninteresting. I did like the voices though. Something about a cockney accent always gets me.

Kezza 11-30-2006 10:27 AM

HAHAHARGH! Thanks for the feedback, but that wasn't a cockney accent (LOL)

'Twas infact the opposite of cockney, but I can't expect an american to understand the subtleties of english dialect.

... but that was funny, COCKNEY! heehee

edit: Oh yes, and how do I make it intersting then?

James McCloud 11-30-2006 09:12 PM

Haha, if he could answer that, I think there'd be a few more movies in the database.

Pirate Balloon 11-30-2006 09:38 PM

Hahah, thats not cockney, that's GEORDIE.

Kezza 12-01-2006 11:28 AM

Damn straight it's geordie; I was born and bred in (all most) sight of the Tyne.

I think I'm going to rework the scene within a custom setting - but the voices and dialogue is good right???

And I've got a beast of a story lined up... I just posted this to get some reaction to my two main characters

I'm now unsurprised you didn't like it, because I've just skimmed over your repertoire of films... seems to be a defecating theme... bit different to my sense of humour, but probably no more immature

Watch his 00DeeBoned series. You'll have more respect for what he considers interesting when they're done. I'm no superfan of the Hobo Talk series, and I'm not going to watch those Dennis movies (though I don't even think he made them), but DeeBoned is what it's all about right there.

Also, I'm not going to watch a movie that's just the first scene, especially if it's default actors in default scenes. WIPs aren't really what the movie database is for, anyway. Maybe later when you post some updates.

What a stroke of comic genius, this is the sort of thing this foyer has been waiting for -thankyou for producing a 3dm of quality!

Lars 12-16-2006 06:11 PM

I am aware I wrote foyer instead of forum.

Lars 12-16-2006 06:12 PM
