I added this because it didn't appear to be in the archive and it's pretty much my favorite movie by Dan.

'Tis truly great. I remember looking at this while making Sanity Clause to learn about good-looking textures and fonts for snow and such.

The 20th way was a little anticlimactic, but still pretty badass.

I think he should re-release with an actual Santa instead of just Jerzy, since there are two Santa models to choose from now.

I used an extra scene, where the Dominator gets caught by the police, on your movie, Dan.

At that scene, the Dominator laughs and then a cop comes behind him and yells 'Hey you! Put your hands up right now!'. Then the Dominator tries to kill the cop using the same weapon that he used to kill Santa Claus, but the cop jumps high to dodge the kill and then says to the dominator 'You are not going to kill me this time. You are under arrest for ruining christmas by stealing the baby's candy cane, giving a girl a bomb for a present, killing Santa Claus, and ruining his costume.'. Then the Dominator is in jail. That's what you get for killin' someone.

...ok, I hope you know they make these movies for FUN, and have no real seriousness towards this, you think they'd make an animation about killing someone and then doing it in real life? I dont see what you have against all this, its just an idea of a movie and then have it made. ALSO, please dont bump something 4 MONTHS OLD!! We know you hate violence, so just stop watching them if you hate it so much.

But he killed SANTA CLAUS!

Although the scenes are upsetting for the season, this movie is totally hilarious! :lol

Re-released as part of the 3DMM Preservation Project. There should be just enough time to get in most of these before the 25th, if you hurry.

why am I watching so many of these movies for the first time? what the hell was I doing in 2004? anyways, this was a great little movie.

I had to go back and watch the 'big ass switch' one again, that was so well done.

This is still really fun, and while it seems like every other 3DMM christmas short uses "Let it Snow" (or "Jingle Bell Rock") it felt appropriate here. The lyrical cues for the carolers and the flamethrower attack on the snowmen were great. It's interesting to look back at your early work and see the manic energy and rapid-fire visual moments already there, even if the timing isn't quite as tight as it would eventually become.

Some of the gags are repetitive (variations on "kill/break/blow up [person/festive thing]), but it's great fun to watch and see what's next. It's a shame the Santa model wasn't ready before this came out.

I liked it. Dan was using a lot of that bouncing scenery to accentuate impact stuff, which is great; makes all the explosions and deaths really visceral and satisfying. Also I loved this moment in history when it was made: 2004, where the expansion had just come out but v3dmm hadn't yet, when everyone was really experimenting a lot with those extra textures. That's my most nostalgic 3dmm year, apart from when I first started using 3dmm, long before I came to the community. But anyways, good movie.
