Country Flags Added to User Profile & Postbits

All, I just added a new feature to your user profiles that allows you to specify your nationality. If you make a selection, the corresponding flag will be displayed under your avatar on all your postbits in the forums.

User CP -> Edit Profile -> Additional Information -> Nationality

Let me know what you think!

HMC 03-14-2006 02:02 AM

What a gay feature.

NEATER

Denny Betterman 03-14-2006 02:11 AM

I claim this post in the name of Island

Space Goat 03-14-2006 02:14 AM

Yeah, I forgot to mention, there's nothing funny, clever, or interesting about choosing an obscure country's flag whom you are not a citizen of. Please don't do it.

THIS IS WHY WE CAN'T HAVE NICE THINGS.

Salter 03-14-2006 02:43 AM

In the beginning, I actually liked the location field on the postbits, but this makes a good feature.

Lord Blazer 03-14-2006 03:10 AM

I think it would be more aesthetically pleasing to have "I Voted" above the flags. Just saying.

ALso, "Island"? Wtf?

Edit: Oh. Iceland.

test

Molotov 03-14-2006 06:13 AM

Give a 'Wahey!' for the UK

James McCloud 03-14-2006 08:31 AM

This is probably just me, but I think it'd look a lot better if it were on the same level as the "I'm online/offline icon" and the "Report bad post" icon. Except aligned to the right.

Patrick Rasmussen 03-14-2006 09:15 AM

It appears on the same level as the "I'm online/offline" icon and the "Report bad post" icon to me.

Samuel Deacon 03-14-2006 09:41 AM

It doesn't to me. Have it alongside the other icons, it will be neater.

And it was also a good idea to change the "I voted" icon. That was big and ugly.

Anders Borg 03-14-2006 10:40 AM

NORWAY.

Demented Ferret 03-14-2006 10:43 AM

Oooh, hopefully the stats page can incorporate some sort of graph of nationalities and stuff.

Deano 03-14-2006 10:52 AM

That would be cool... I want to see it NOW though. :(

Lyntan 03-14-2006 11:43 AM

cool

Oh, I missed that. Well everybody knows I'm English. I just like Egypt. If you offered St George's Cross instead of that Scot-soiled tripe I might think differently

Jeroen van Eden 03-14-2006 02:21 PM

Cool, now I can show off my sexxxy dutch flag... mmmmmmh. :)
Nice feature, thanks Goat!

Agreed. ENGLAND, not BRITAIN.

Travis Wells 03-14-2006 04:02 PM

Thank you for making it "Nationality" instead of "Country".

Travis Wells 03-14-2006 04:05 PM

And wow these flags are ugly. Why did you evade my AIM blocking to ask me for the flag icons if you were gonna use some other ones?
