This was the first 3dmm movie I ever downloaded. I still distinctly remember how impressed I was (a lot)

I bet we could fix the glitches in Pencil. That goes for SATANIK, too. HEY TACO

Ben Rice 03-06-2006 09:05 PM

Pure classic this one is.

Denny Betterman 03-06-2006 09:13 PM

I have yet to watch this and I have no idea why. I've seen it on the Dragon Films list of movies dozens of times, and have read awesome reviews....BAH! Maybe later.

WHAT?

Aaron Haynes 03-06-2006 09:54 PM

DO THAT THING YOU DID WITH REDUX FOR THIS AND SATANIK

Digital Taco 03-06-2006 10:50 PM

I DONT KNOW WHAT IT WAS :O

Aaron Haynes 03-06-2006 11:00 PM

We found the scenes where it froze 3dmm and checked out the object IDs in Pencil, and it turned out they were insanely low, causing an ID conflict. I thought the same thing might be happening in DIA and SATANIK.

Digital Taco 03-06-2006 11:02 PM

ohh yeah.

edit: hey remember that weird geometry error that happened to the CAR in redux? :O

Space Goat 03-06-2006 11:12 PM

This is one of my all-time favorite movies. I remember pleading with Phil to finish it. However, even unfinished, it's still absolutely brilliant.

Vaguely, yeah, now that you mention it. What was it exactly?

Digital Taco 03-06-2006 11:30 PM

some of the VERTICES stayed in place while the rest of the car moved, and it got all streched out.

Did anyone else realize they wanted to quit 3dmm/never release a movie to the community the first time they saw the scene where Jackie looks up at the Sears tower?

Breed 03-08-2006 01:02 AM

yeah I STILL wanna see this, BUT EVERYTIME I TRY, IT FRIGGIN FREEZES.

same place in the movie, different computers, over the last few YEARS. I'll try now though.

Breed 03-08-2006 01:05 AM

YUP. Happened again. Same exact spot.

got an error message saying "scratchpad not available" or something... its at the end of scene 28, right as it tries to go to scene 29. :(

Why are all your uploads like 40x the original file size?

Edit: wait... they all just link back to 3dmm threads, wtf Thierry?

Air Rick 11-18-2010 07:46 PM

i thought this was unfinished?

I remember downloading this a l o n g time ago and it clearly says Unfinished in the filename...

Old Rivers 11-18-2010 09:08 PM

It is unfinished.

Cerveaupro 11-26-2010 07:39 PM

You may also replace .html to .mp4 for download link. I have added '3dmm.com' on floppy img for the .3mm thread and download. 7mb/min embed version is linked to thumbnail and is about 14x the .3mm file size.

How did u make those buildings??

Phil Williamson 12-02-2010 08:42 PM

Download it and see. Play around with it. Move stuff around and see what props he used and how. This is the best way to get better at 3dmm.
