Two New Moderators

I have just added two new moderators to the 3dmm Movies forum.

They are...

Demented Ferret and Will Cheyney.

Their primary responsibility is to clean up any sloppy movie postings and keep order in that forum. They can moderate threads and posts as well in that forum - not just movies.

Travis Wells 12-10-2005 08:16 PM

While you're at it, can you re-add me for the 3dmm Modifications forum?
I need to moderate.

Raz 12-10-2005 08:18 PM

I'd say they are two fitting Mods for that section.

As long as you're not planning to go on a deleting spree. :)

Travis Wells 12-10-2005 08:23 PM

I said 3dmm Modifications, not Off topic. :)

Space Goat 12-10-2005 08:23 PM

Ok. You can only soft-delete things anyway.

Travis Wells 12-10-2005 08:27 PM

soft-delete?

Demented Ferret 12-10-2005 08:28 PM

Way to announce it, my testing forum prank was going just fine >: (!

And glad to be of service by the way :).

You can not delete them from the database...only from being displayed to the users. Like a recycling bin, I can restore them if necessary.

Welcome, sirs.

How nice to see the UK so splendidly represented! Well, in comparison to what it was before... Two European moderators still isn't really enough. HINT HINT ;) ;) EH? EH?

Us Europeans are still under-represented, to be fair

Raz 12-11-2005 12:21 AM

Tom, you couldn't moderate a.....cat.

Chris Walker 12-11-2005 01:01 AM

Well done Ferret and Will!

Kim Turley 12-11-2005 11:42 AM

those two are very deserving, good choice

Tuna Hematoma 12-11-2005 12:27 PM

I demand a recount!

Demented Ferret 12-11-2005 05:31 PM

I was expecting your reply to be:

'More like two NEWB modetators, LOLOLOLOLOL!'

Will Cheyney 12-12-2005 07:54 AM

Greeting's fellow Moderator!
Thanks everyone - I'll make sure there is order!

No, what we need to do is make a complete and utter imbecile a mod, someone so irresponsible and dim-witted that the mere act of granting them power will thrust them unto intellectual plains they never dared dream of. Sure, there will be the expecting period of abusal of power, but in time I think we can expect them to come aorund. The perfect cantidate for this plan would of course be Thomas Linton.

Now, some of you may accuse me of attempting to turn the board into a real-life re-enactment of the classic John Goodman film "King Ralph." Well, you'd be right. But, before you judge me, I beg of you, re-watch King Ralph. If its witsome antics do not provide you with ample mirth, then I accept defeat. But if this timeless classic tickles your fancy as it does mine, then you must support my plans.

I posted that in the staff room.

Tuna Hematoma 12-18-2005 05:43 AM

I can't watch King Ralph because Goodman's hair really pissed me off.
